Welcome to Somerset Cosmetic Clinic 2022!

I have recently been thinking about what our clinic offers our patients and how we can best articulate it?

Over Christmas with some rare time to reflect, it occurred to me that we use the same words time and again to describe the expected outcomes of our treatments, without going into too much depth.

The words we use regularly are:

  • Reinvigorate
  • Renew
  • Reinvent
  • Refresh
  • Reinforce
  • Rejuvenate

… But what do these words really mean in terms of the treatments?

So, 2022 will be the year we explain in greater depth what each of these words mean in this context, and which treatments they apply to. This month we are starting with ‘reinvigorate’.

Reinvigorate

What do we mean, in terms of aesthetic cosmetics and what can deliver this outcome?

Let’s face it, winter this year, following on from all our restrictions has mostly felt like we are biding time until spring arrives with all its optimism and hope.  But we can actively prepare for this with a number of treatments that help to reinvigorate the skin, helping you to feel ready for the world.

Bring a glow back to your skin

Profhilo
Profhilo

One of our most popular treatments is called Profhilo. Profhilo slowly evolves the patient’s own tissue, without creating immediate volumisation or augmentation and the result is a better quality and more elastic dermis, which fills and volumises naturally. Profhilo literally engages with the bodies receptors and causes collagen stimulation and effectively replaces it. After the first treatment we see a textural improvement and after the second, firmness and lifting.

If you are thinking of using dermal fillers for the first time, this is a great introduction, the changes are subtle and look healthy and natural.

Remove the wrinkles

It will be no surprise to many of you that I include Botox into this category. Botox treatment is now the most popular nonsurgical cosmetic treatment in the world and by using it, you allow the wrinkles that naturally develop overtime, to smooth out. Treatment begins to take affect from day 3 up to an average 3 to 4 months.

Turn that frown upside down

Do the corners of your mouth turn down making you look and feel gloomy? As we age the top lip continues to grow. It often causes the lip to look like it is turning down and creates lines that accentuate this. At Somerset Cosmetic Clinic we have a number of treatments to reinvigorate this area and help reverse the process. We can tailor your treatment to your precise needs.

Luscious lipsLip

If your lips have lost their fullness thanks to the passage of time, with an emphasis on NATURAL, we can reinvigorate this area, giving you luscious lips that look defined, plump but not overfilled!

These are just a few examples of the types of treatments that we offer to reinvigorate your skin and help kickstart the process.

As always, before any treatment is given, a full consultation and medical review is undertaken; this is now done remotely and appointments are for treatment only.

If you would like to explore any of these options please contact me (Dr Ed) and I will be pleased to explore the right treatment for you, and please, do book early and plan your next treatment ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

Happy 2022…
